The Genomics of Rare Diseases: Beyond the Exome conference will be organized on April 13-15, 2016. This conference will present a blend of genomic science and clinical medicine. It will provide a forum for clinicians and scientists interested in human genomic variation and the mechanisms by which it exerts its phenotypic effects. The meeting features the latest findings related to the genomic basis of rare diseases, which can provide powerful insights into human biology and focuses on the links between monogenic and polygenic disorders and will explore the various modifiers of rare disease. New technologies to therapy will be discussed, including metabolomic approaches, and additionally discussion will be organized around current ethical issues in genomic medicine.
